1791 created the perfect engagement ring for me to propose with; and without ever meeting a single one of their team face to face! From the first moment I saw their website I was confident that they could do exactly what I wanted, even though I didn't know quite what that was at the time. Alice took time to understand the look and feel of what I wanted and quickly came up with concepts that were beautifully tailored to suit. Discussing my chosen design with her later, I couldn't even find any changes I wanted to make. After some much needed help on getting the right diamond and ring size (thanks Ardouin), my design was crafted into the perfect ring. The team at 1791 even disguised the packaging to ensure it remained a surprise right until the last moment. And of course she said yes!

The Karine diamond engagement ring is a contemporary take on the classic beauty of the three stone design. The centre stone and side stones are all princess cut diamonds; a popular choice for three stone designs since their square shape allows the diamonds to nestle together perfectly, creating a dramatic line of fire and brilliance.

As in the traditional three stone design the centre stone is a little larger than the side stones and is slightly elevated, emphasising its distinctive shape and impressive sparkle all the more.
