I had something specific in mind for my wife to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, and 1791 couldn't have made it easier. I told Designer Alice roughly what I was after and within a day I had a beautiful rendered image of the ring design sitting on my desktop that you could have sworn was a photo of the real thing. So from idea to reality in about 48 hours, not bad! We were easily able to make a couple of small design tweaks, and the result was stunning. Right through the process from design to the paperwork afterwards was a pleasure and I would highly recommend 1791 to anyone looking for value for money and an outstanding result. I know my wife loved it :)

Hi Erika,
After a very anxious wait I finally got to see the ring today. It's perfect! Thank you so much for all the time and energy you and the rest of the team at 1791 put into this. I really appreciate it. It was a pleasure doing business with you and you have made this very significant challenge a lot easier for me to navigate. Now I can start looking forward to taking the next step of presenting the ring to my partner along with that all important question.
Thank you again,
Nico
Orlo Diamond Ring Review
A marquise diamond is the perfect choice for anyone looking to step away from conventional or traditional diamond ring designs. The Orlo design from 1791 Diamonds emphasises the distinguished look of this exceptional diamond shape and offers a sophisticated and unique sense of style.
The marquise diamond has a dynamic oval shape leading to a dramatic point at each end. In the Orlo design the diamond's sharp angles are matched by a knife edge ring shank. The cut out detail below the diamond setting adds an intriguing design feature while drawing further attention to the knife edge shank.
A line of side stones encircles the center stone and mirrors the shape of the diamond with a sharp point at each side. The side stones flash with diamond fire adding intensity to the brilliant sparkle of the marquise.
A bezel setting holds the center stone in place. The metal rim surrounding the diamond complements, rather than conceals the unique shape of the diamond and provides a particularly secure setting.
