I had something specific in mind for my wife to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, and 1791 couldn't have made it easier. I told Designer Alice roughly what I was after and within a day I had a beautiful rendered image of the ring design sitting on my desktop that you could have sworn was a photo of the real thing. So from idea to reality in about 48 hours, not bad! We were easily able to make a couple of small design tweaks, and the result was stunning. Right through the process from design to the paperwork afterwards was a pleasure and I would highly recommend 1791 to anyone looking for value for money and an outstanding result. I know my wife loved it :)

When my husband finally popped the question, I admit I was a bit relieved that he didn't already have the ring as I had spotted one on the Internet that I really liked. I was very wary about buying a ring off the net but it really was nicest ring I had seen. So I plucked up the courage and rang 1791's customer's services. Ardouin was just fantastic not only did she answer all our questions; she reassured us that the company was real and what we could do to check.

The ring making was quite a personal process, selecting your own diamond, progress reports on its creation and in no real time at all, it's delivery. I feel like my ring is really mine.

Now I'm the proud owner of my stunning ring and with a wedding band to match that they made for us at the same time.

With the Brillante design, 1791 Diamonds showcase an unusual choice of diamond shape, the emerald cut, in a beautiful and modern style of ring.

Emerald cut diamonds are very distinctive with their long, elegant lines. These are step-cut diamonds meaning that they have many large open facets, which act like mirrors and throw dramatic prisms of light. However, these large open facets do highlight the clarity of the diamond so it's important to choose a good quality stone.

1791 Diamonds adhere to strict policies with regard to diamond quality meaning that they only use the very top quality grades for diamond cut and colour and in terms of diamond clarity they always use SI or better to ensure that no blemishes can easily be seen without a magnifying glass or jeweller's loupe.
