We love this ring! 1791 designer, Alice Herald, worked with me over several weeks to create a beautiful engagement ring. I told Alice about the symbols that reflected our relationship and sent images of ideas that I liked. she captured the essence of the design elements in a way that I had not even imagined. I am most pleased with this product and am proud to offer it to my fiance.

Buying from 1791Diamonds online was very easy and straight-forward. It made organising an engagement ring at the last minute (as my original jeweler fell through) while doing a fly in fly out a possibility. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. They did everything possible to get me my engagement ring on time. Once I had received the ring it was a happy response. 1791 were only too happy to receive the ring back through the post for a re-size. This was a process that was suprisingly quick and it was sent straight back to me. Emerald diamonds are not flashy like round brilliant cuts but they are certainly very elegant. Emerald diamonds, known as step cuts, have rows of facets, much like a staircase, and take on an enchanting mirror-like effect. This rectangular shaped diamond was popular during the Art Deco period and the Argenta design captures the subtle glamour of this era.

While emerald cuts are not known to have the brilliant sparkle of other more traditional diamond cuts, they do emphasise the colour and clarity of the diamond.
